Dispatches from the Queensland Office April 2008Thought I would send down some pics of us at the Mt Coot-tha Challenge on Sunday. Great fun and I hope lots of the crew will be up here to go in it next year. We did miss Sir Ken with his "Good mornings" along the way to every one he seems to know (like at the Brisbane to Gold Coast). 70kms just the right distance too with all the usual organization, food and not much traffic. One guy asked if it was the Woodford Island of the Lower Clarence - "Great Stuff" he said then. Graeme thinks it was Robbie McEwan, but he didn't get a good look as Graeme went past him in the time trial up the Mt. There were lots of hills as well as the climb up the Mt. By the way just have to say of 200 women who went in the time trial up the mount - I came 24th. What more can I say . . . .just had to put that information in. Oh yes and Gra came 467 out of 1184 guys. So keep in mind for next year! Brisbane to Gold Coast 12th Oct this year so book that one in your calendar. Might get to see you all at Coffee art Saturday.
